RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content. RSS content can be read using software called an RSS reader. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

News :: Creating a Virtual Classroom

Andrew Douch is a leader in new media education, having won the 2007 Microsoft Innovative Teacher of the Year award.

In this session, Andrew will demonstrate how to capitalise on students’ existing engagement with new media technologies and create a ’24/7 virtual classroom’.

SYN will also showcase its new website, set for launch in Nov 2008, displaying the ways in which it offers teachers and students a platform for classroom-created media products.

Presented by SYN in partnership with the State Library of Victoria, & supported by the Foundation for Young Australians.
